At Milestone Direct our advisers are trained and obliged to put your interests first. We are here to ensure your financial goals are understood and an appropriate financial recommendation is presented to you and your family: one that meets your short, medium and long-term financial goals.

New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has appointed Milestone Direct to be the official financial advice provider to all NZDF members, their families, and the wider defence community. 

All activities conducted by Milestone Direct in respect of the defence community are overseen by the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) Governance Group, which has been established to provide strategic guidance on the superannuation schemes and additional financial services products.

Our core values

After spending some time at various Defence Force camps and bases, the Milestone Direct Team and the wider Milestone Group came to learn about the NZDF’s core values. Those values struck a chord with us, and portray how we endeavour to work together and for our clients. The Milestone Direct team has adopted those values and added them to the other values that represent what we stand for.

Transparency

Our financial advisers are Authorised Financial Advisers (AFAs).  This means they must meet the highest standards in the industry. 

Our advisers are salary-based and are not incentivised by commissions or sales targets so you know your interests come first.  We will make you aware of all fees and commissions we may receive, the products and services we can advise on, any potential conflicts of interest, and ensure you are aware of our dispute resolution scheme in the unlikely event you are not happy with our service.

Because we believe in helping you make the most out of your money, it is essential that we provide a service that does just that.  Our advice is well priced and we believe it is a sound investment to start you on your journey to reach your financial milestones.
